Transitioning from NGO Accounting to Investment Banking Post-MBA: Need Advice
I’m currently an accountant working at an NGO and am considering pursuing an MBA with the goal of transitioning into investment banking. I’m passionate about IB because of the dynamic, fast-paced environment and the opportunity to work on large, impactful deals. I’m trying to figure out the best way to articulate this passion in interviews and how to link it with my experience in NGO accounting.
Has anyone here made a similar transition or have advice on how to best position my background and skills? Any insights on how to make this pivot effectively would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!"
