UCL or Warwick for Economics?
Hello all, first time posting on here. I've received offers for Bsc Economics from UCL and Warwick. I want to go into Investment banking.
Being in London, would UCL be a better choice for a future career in IB since it is in close proximity to major banks?
Any input would be appreciated - I don't mind going to either in the end.
Thank you
Congrats on the offers! I'd go for UCL - especially since you're aiming for IB, places well in London IBD recruiting
Being in London doesn't make a difference. Go to either, once you're at a reputable university no bulge bracket is really going to care what the exact one is
Inconsequential - both place equally well. Good luck! Pick based on course/campus/etc
Warwick course honestly might be slightly easier, so more time for ECs and fun. However make sure you're comfortable with the campus. I visited and personally didn't enjoy the vibe so much, but have friends who went who love the campus feel. They are much more close knit than I am with my uni friends
