UCLA or BYU for alternative transcript?
Which of these two online programs would you recommend?
UCLA is slightly more expensive on average but BYU has some quant courses that are more expensive than UCLA.
I know both, BYU and UCLA, are some of the more popular online programs but which one would you recommend?
UCLA is obviously a better name but the class structure at BYU is more appealing to me since you can finish up the class at your own pace.
I am looking to take 2 - 3 courses to beef up my MBA application
Are there any other online programs that I am not aware of that I should consider?
Thanks.
i think byu you can do at your own pace as well.... anddddddd im not sure how much better UCLA anderson is held than BYU marriott to be honest.. sure in true 'rankings' or whatever UCLA may show up higher but BYU marriott is where a lot of the mormons go to and they get insanely hooked up... HBS recommends people to use BYU and thats how i found out about their program
Just a comment, I don't think BYU's course is run by the Marriott business school, but I could be wrong. It doesn't matter though, as long as it is an accredited school. Here's the link: http://is.byu.edu/site/courses/index.cfm I am referenced.
Man, I already signed up for UCLA - Mathematics for Finance course.
I figured the name is slightly better and I'm a pretty liberal dude so going Mormon wouldn't feel right (not that I have something against ultra-religious people or anything, just not my cup of tea).
