UG Degree and IB B.Com or B. Sc
I'm a Canadian high school senior and have gotton admissions from UBC and McGill University. Both of these admission are in B.Com and B.Sc .
I realize that both of those schools are considered non-target and from what I have heard, the placements from those schools into BB banks are considerably low compared to counterpart universities in the States. At this point, I have no option but to go to either of the two universities and I am put into a deep dillema to figure out which degree I should choose to pursue in what University.
So here are my questions:
How much emphasis do BB banks place on the type of degree taken?
Are B.Com degrees frowned upon because they are not "traditional"?
Will B. Sc in Mathematics (joint/minor Economics?) provide me with the best chances and preparation?
Bcom, most the alumni are Bcom + the management career centers take care of the BBs that come for OCR.
they are both bachelor's degrees. (bachelor "of" doesn't matter so much) now what are the majors/concentrations? one is in business and the other is in mathematics? is that what you are saying?
One of them is the Joint Honours degree in Economics and Finance and the other would be majoring in Mathematics.
