UK Unis
Glasgow, Edinburgh, Warwick, ICL, UCL, Oxbridge and LSE. Which of these should I choose I am definitly applying for Glasgow as Backup, Warwick as Main and LSE as Stretch. I need to choose 2 more unis but im unsure of which ones to choose. My predicted grades for Advanced Higher are AAA.
Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's what you need to know:
Your current choices of Glasgow (backup), Warwick (main), and LSE (stretch) are solid. To round out your applications, consider the following:
Oxbridge (Oxford or Cambridge): These are the top-tier universities in the UK and globally recognized as the best. If you meet their rigorous entry requirements and have a strong personal statement, they are worth applying to. Oxbridge is particularly advantageous for careers in finance, consulting, and other competitive fields.
Imperial College London (ICL): Known as a target school for finance and consulting, Imperial is highly regarded for its quantitative and finance-related programs. It’s an excellent choice if you’re interested in a technical or finance-oriented career.
University College London (UCL): UCL is another strong target school, especially for economics, finance, and related fields. It offers a balance of academic prestige and location advantages in London, which is ideal for networking and internships.
University of Edinburgh: While not as strong a target as Oxbridge, LSE, or Imperial, Edinburgh is still a respected institution and could serve as a semi-target for finance roles. It’s a good option if you want a strong academic experience outside of London.
Recommendation:
With your predicted grades of AAA, you’re in a strong position to apply to these top-tier universities. Make sure your personal statement is tailored to highlight your passion for the subject and your career aspirations.

Oxbridge, LSE, Imperial, UCL, Warwick
No point in going to uni if it isn't any of these.

if you want to only have one stretch and also probably not write a test/have an interview, maybe remove imperial for ucl
