undergrad
Hello, Monkeys. I'm currently an incoming freshman to Elon University in N.C. I am completely aware that this isn't a target school but out of curiosity, How common is it to see an Elon alumnus in a front office finance position? I'm very nervous that the lack of brand name due to the infancy of the school will inhibit my chances at making it to The Street. I'm contemplating transferring, but only if necessary.
My plan as of now is to hustle and leave school with a 3.7+, try to join a consulting firm, then getting my MBA and switching over to PE. How likely (or unlikely) is this little master plan? If anyone can tell me the validity of my plan it would be you WSO people. And please, give me honest answers - I can handle the truth.
