Undergrad econ: UCSB or UCSD?
I'm a transfer student and I'm wondering if there's actually an appreciable difference between either of these school's economics programs. I know they're both non-targets.
I'm considering minoring in Statistics and Data Science if I go to SB, and maybe Mathematics if I go to SD.
The goal is ER after college and eventually a long-only hedge fund.
Thank you.

Ucsd for sure! Congrats!
@cardguy45" and anonymous,
Thanks guys! I appreciate the insight! I was hoping SB would be the answer but you gotta do what you gotta do I guess.
WSO won't let me reply directly to you for whatever reason.
UCSD is the better academic school, but am not sure if either are great for West Coast finance. If you care a lot more about personal fit, choose UCSB, but you'd probably have to do the leg-work from each (albeit Equity Research might not be too tough to break into).
