Undergrad transfer from A&M
I'm a freshman at Texas A&M as an undergrad and despite their large network, they don't have that much prestige so I was considering a transfer somewhere else such as UT Austin McCombs which has more prestige than A&M. Because their transfer rates are so low (10%), I was wondering if I should change my major from finance to economics in order to have a better chance of transferring. My goal is to work at a top PE firm before my mid 20's which means I'll most likely have to take the customary path of an MBA at a top school and then IB in 2 years. Would it be worth transferring and most likely changing my major or should I focus on getting into a good school for my MBA?
