Undergraduate Advice Needed
How would you rank the following non-target schools if the goal is to get a FO IBD position at a BB upon graduation from undergrad as a finance major:
Wake Forest University
University of Rochester
Lehigh University
Villanova University
University of Miami
University of Richmond
Tulane University
Fordham University
Texas Christian University
Any insight or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

It's tough - none are true target schools, but some are good colleges.
Wake forest is probably the most target. Next tier would be lehigh, villanova, richmond (with villanova being the weakest academically but probably most target of the bunch). Fordham will be around here just due to proximity to NYC. Next tier: the rest.
listen to this and do not go to PSU/Miami. Wake and Nova should be your top 2

Kid who went to my high school went to Nova and works at Jefferies now. definitely doable
A friend also went to nova and landed sophomore Internship at MS (non-diversity)
that's dope--nova seems to place well in IB
Social aspect? - Go to Miami Want your parents to overpay for a mediocre education? - Go to Fordham Want to have a shot at IBD? - Go to Wake Forest and join a frat. I have a friend who's brother went to WF and joined a frat. One of his frat brothers was an MD at JPM and well you can guess that what happened next was everyone in the frat got an SA position of some sort. However, ever before that luck, he did his sophomore summer at Wells Fargo. Good place, places well.
