USC Marshall Undergraduate - Finance Clubs as a Sophomore Spring 2025 transfer student
I have been accepted into USC Marshall School of Business undergraduate program for Spring 2025 as a sophomore and plan to go into IB. Will it be possible for me to join the finance clubs on campus- TIS, GIS, VIG? Any other clubs in finance that are recommended?
Based on previous WSO threads, here are some insights regarding finance clubs at various universities:
Columbia University:
U.C. Berkeley:
Georgetown University:
While specific information about USC Marshall's finance clubs isn't provided in the context, it is likely that similar clubs exist. Generally, joining finance clubs is possible for transfer students, but it may depend on the club's application process and acceptance rates. It's advisable to reach out to the clubs directly or consult current students for more detailed information.

Might be too late for IB recruiting, for SA2025 it started last year in December....
I will be recruiting for summer 2026. As a sophomore transfer student at USC Marshall undergraduate program starting in January 2025 for the Spring semester, will I have a difficult time joining the on-campus finance clubs? My concern is it will be more competitive joining the clubs halfway through my sophomore year in January.
