Useful Background

What of the following do you think would be the most useful background to pursue a these career in Finance?

Math, Economics, Accounting, Psychology

in

for Investment Banking?

for Sales and Trading?

for Portfolio Management?

Thanks,
Michael

depends on which school you're coming from. if you are from a non-target or even a target such as UVA (McIntire), a technical major would be helpful such as Finance.

Math, Econ & Accounting are all good fields. I would suggest that fluency (reading & writing) in an international language would be useful (Spanish, Chinese, Hindi) for the present and future.
