WashU alum here. High placement percentage if you join WUIB (WashU Investment Banking club). Can still place if not in the club, but makes it a bit easier if you are because of senior leadership/alum who will guide you through recruiting process.Have to network quite a bit unless diversity but there's a decent alumni base with a minimum of one alum at nearly every bank (1 Evercore, 3 CVP, 2 PJT, 5+ Lazard).Probably biggest feeder into Guggenheim (~5 every year with ~15 super days), but still placements into NYC Goldman, Lazard, Barclays, Citi, JPM.In chicago there's decently strong connections to WB, Lincoln, Baird, HL Rx, and some of the BBs.Also, a few of the really smart cookies, rich kids with connections, and diversity will manage Bx or HF. Decent alumni base at BX.
