What are my chances for a deferred MBA?

Hi all! Starting to realize I definitely want to get my MBA down the road, but just recently learned about deferred MBA's & I'm wondering if it's worth applying. Would ideally love to get experience working (accepted a BB S&T FT) before going back getting and MBA and switching to IB/PE. Shooting for HSW/M7 but wanna be realistic knowing apps are due late April & I haven't begun studying. I know it's much easier to do later down the road but not sure how much time I'd have working FT.

Pros

Engineering Major

Diversity applicant

Strong extracurriculars

Strong internships (Worked 2x in FAANG as a SWE)

Light class load this semester (could devote more time to studying)

Cons

3.6 GPA (not sure how much leeway they give to eng. majors but I know most schools are looking for 3.7/3.8 & up)

Haven't begun studying for GMAT/GRE

Any feedback is much appreciated!!
