What are my chances for these MiF programs in EU?
Hi everyone, do I have a chance in any of these programs?
Gpa: 3.5/4 ( 26.6/30) BBA from a no name uni in southern italy
Gmat : 680 Q43, V40 (not enough time to retake, already tried 2 times)
Internship: 3 months as a private banker intern at Mediolanum Bank (Top 5 bank in italy)
Programs I'm applying to: HEC and Essec MiF, bocconi MiF and Afc ( Administration, finance and control) and probably Esade mif
Unfortunatelly I can't apply to most programs such as st gallen, edhec, SSE because I will have my last exam on september and most programs want everything done by september. What are my chances? Any other school I could apply to?
I'd say forget HEC, may have a shot at ESSEC if you have extracurricular experiences (they love associations and non-profits). Don't know about Italian uni so cannot say how much Bocconi will be aware of your school (worth to try). Esade mif is pretty new and unknown, probably a good back-door.
Kinda f-up that your exam happen in september, do you have any imperative in starting your mif in 2023 ? Otherwise, I would probably advise to try the schools you listed and temporize for next year if not accepted while grinding some more finance experience. Fact is you are applying with a low GMAT on the Q part which might be a limiting factor, especially considering that you would not be applying on the first session.
