What are the chances of breaking into IB from a non target school, if all you do from day one is focused towards getting a job in a IB firm(any firm bb or mm)?

I’m saying joining all IB clubs, networking as much as possible and getting good grades. At a certain point can you just not get a job?

It all comes down to getting interviews. You can talk to any person under the sun, but if you can’t get into the superday then you just cant get an offer. A lot of people will be happy to talk to you via networking, but sometimes they can’t/won’t actually help you when the time comes. Honestly, your best bet would be to transfer. It will just be a huge uphill battle that can be avoided. Of course, it is totally feasible and many non-targets break in, but you would have a much easier time transferring to a target after you kill it freshman year.
