What Can I do with an MBA?

Did two years of FIG banking at a WF, RBC, Truist sort of bank. Didn’t get great deal experience but ended up in a nice M&A associate role at a sponsored back company.

I am getting a lot of small deal reps which is nice and I think will make up for my banking experience, but I am worried about career stagnation and have a bit of an itch to get into a career with a higher ceiling.

I am thinking about preparing for my MBA and I think I’d have a solid shot at M7. I am wondering what sort of roles can I target? Going back to banking I’d want to go to a very top shop or is it possible to land a MM PE role or something else?  Do I even bother with an MBA?
