What do they ask for in the background check?

Hi everyone,

Sorry for another annoying Background check post but I was wondering what info I have to provide.

I have:

  • contact details for all previous work experience but only contract evidence for one. Some of these experiences were performed overseas
  • university and high school transcripts
  • passport and no criminal record

As I am an "international student" (was granted citizenship recently) I am unsure if I have to provide evidence of where I have lived (which might be difficult in my case) for the past x years (moreover, I don't remember exact dates). Furthermore, I am unsure I could provide credible evidence of extracurriculars. For example, if I have x sport in my Resume (which I do play), I couldn't provide evidence of being in a team or anything (because I am not).

Worried because I have heard that if you just provide guessed dates, that might be seen as lying.

Also, my original country is not an English-speaking one.

Has anyone gone through a similar situation?

Thanks beforehand!
