What do university students do to get into investment banks?

Hi everyone. It's such a pleasure to join this community. I'm an international student from China. I will study in class of 2024 of Cornell University, and I wanna find a job in IBD after undergraduate program. I'm now quite confused about what major(s) and coursed should I choose in order to learn the most wanted and valued skills and knowledge when IBD recruiting. I also realize working in IBD demands other things beyond knowledge and skills, so what should I do, both in school and outside of school, to achieve that? I know there are many experienced investment bankers here, and I'd really appreciate it if you could please offer me some advice and share some experience of your own that may be helpful.
