What does "going downtown" mean?
So I was talking to a girl in my dorm a few days back and I asked her what she was up to. She mumbled something and said "I'm going downtown." I thought she meant downtown geographically, so I said "ok cool have fun." Then she said "ok goodnight" and walked away. Then my dumb ass realized it was 12 am, so she was never going out. Did she mean what I think she meant? Did I really just fuck this up?
