I am currently close to the 2 year mark in IB. My long term goals are operational versus in financial services/investing, so I am considering pursuing a corp finance/strat role for a F500 for ~2 years before B-School. Post B-School I would either consider working my way forward in corporate leadership or perhaps try to pursue MBB/T2 consulting for some time before returning to corporate.
