Would working at a BB help you get into Stern?

Probably a dumb question, but Ive got a SA role at a BB and hope to continue my career there. I've set my eyes on a Stern MBA.

Does Stern love BB people? I imagine every worker at a BB that tries to get into a B-school applies to Stern. Do they group you with people from the same firm, possibly making it harder to get in?

I think you are looking too far ahead, and it does not seem you know why you want an MBA, which is a very important part of the assessment you will need to make when writing your essays.

Work for a few years first and I think you will answer your own question.

And obviously working for a BB does not hurt your application, but it also does not guarantee everything. Top MBA programs look for well rounded candidates from different backgrounds.

I'm not sure you completely understand the whole "going to get your MBA" thing. The vast majority of people don't go back to the same firm after they complete their MBA. Moreover, Stern is a great undergrad school but TBH for b-school you go to Stern if you want to be in NYC and can't get into Columbia.
