Year Abroad

Hey guys, I'm a high school senior and I'm thinking about my college plans as I've already sent in my applications. I'm majoring in finance or economics and I'm pretty interested in investment banking. I'm not 100% sure that's where I want to be, but I'm 100% sure I want to recruit for it. Also, I want to do a semester or full-year abroad at some point in Europe (preferably UK or Spain, but that's not really relevant at this point). Given recruiting cycles and timelines, what's the smartest time to do the semester or full year abroad?

The best situation would be an international school that allows multiple locations throughout your degree. would be more efficient and with more support from both schools. Having said that, I didn't do such a thing and just studied at two different schools in different countries (undergrad and grad were in different countries for me) - that is also an option if you want different schools.

Thanks for the input! I was actually thinking more of a traditional experience with a small international experience mixed in just so I can get a global experience and have a little fun in that way. I wouldn't be spending a significant amount of time at multiple different schools. I'm just not sure what's the smartest time to take on that experience. I'm not really that interested in grad school at the moment either, maybe in the future. Will be taking the GMAT senior year just in case though. Once again, thanks for the input!
