Wealth but Not Fame
Part of the allure of IB, PE, and/or HF is the compensation. I expect to enter the industry in 1-2 years, but, I am a very personal individual when it comes to sharing things about my personal life. Is it possible to obtain an 8-9 figure net worth with no one (outside of your family) knowing about your success? Or is that just not common in HF, PE, and IB?
Finance people are not celebrities, especially at the 8 figure net worth. There are tons of people at that level that you have never heard about.
Makes sense. But if you start getting into that 9 fig range, do you start popping up here and there on the news?
