3rd rotation advice

I have to submit choices for my last rotation soon. What do you guys think of: 1. EM trading (mainly LatAm here in NY) 2. Commodity index trading 3. Credit correlation/exotics

Mainly concerned with the prospects of each desk going forward. I've sat with each desk and clicked very well with all of them, so the tiebreaker will have to be prospects/$ potential. Thx!

how did your first 2 rotations go? if you do correlation you'd stay on the fi floor i believe, which would be helpful if that's where you're looking to get a FT offer from (it allows you to more easily continue to network with the hy trading desk) . A lot of times the third rotation can be meaningless (regardless of what HR tells you), and a lot of people use it to keep hustling and networking with their first couple rotations in hopes of getting an offer from there. it is VERY common for traders/intern managers to get "comfortable" with kids from the first 2 rotations, and by the time the third rotation comes around they are tired of having to start from day 1 with another set of interns. Not saying offers don't come from the third rotation (they definitely do), but a higher % come from the first 2 rotations. And I just assume you didn't want prime services, as that's generally how it was when I was an SA. I think I know where you're at, and I think I went through the same program, so shoot me a pm if you have any questions.
