Dudes,
Been running a new arb lately involving AGM dates. This works because in HK coys can't go ex-div on the final until after the AGM, so the AGM can be used as a predictor of div date.
My question is thus: are there any other strategies you can think of that will benefit by knowing in advance AGM dates?

edit: should mention atm i'm arbing index futs and using calendar spreads etc in terms of derivs. anything else that could take advantage of this?
Can you trade in inter-dealer broker market? You should be lighting it up in single stock options / forwards / dividend swaps for a purer play.

Which are you suggesting? 1) you know nonpublic AGM dates 2a) other market participants are too lazy or stupid to look up AGM dates 2b) other market participants fail to understand the concept you describe 3) scenario I didn't think of in the last 30 seconds
As for "arbing index futs" why are you trading futures to try to use information that is clearly stock specific??
