Am I too late?

Hi all,

I'm currently a rising junior at a semi-target school. By that I mean we have many students getting recruited for IB but less so for S&T. I decided about 4 months ago that I definitely wanted to pursue S&T positions and have been studying up ever since (reading relevant books, Bloomberg Market Concepts course, reading WSJ every morning). A few months ago, I started leveraging my connections and talking to people in the business. I am kicking the networking process into high gear right now, but I have some worries. I've seen people on this forum saying that they felt like they were late to the IB process by applying in May! I applied for a couple buy-side positions in May, but the summer analyst positions I'm really interested in at BB banks I'm only now applying to just now. I'm wondering if I'm totally screwed because I didn't jump on all of this earlier, both this year and figuring out that this was what I wanted to pursue by the end of sophomore year. Please let me know if this is the case for S&T recruiting.
