Anyone know anything about Dare (formerly VCMT)?

Have a final round interview coming up with them for their summer internship, was wondering if anyone knows much about the company (comp, culture, prestige, exit opps etc.) and whether they are a good commodity trader/worthwhile place to intern.

Avoid avoid avoid. They renamed from VCMT due to horrible public image to ‘Dare’ because of workplace issues if I remember correctly.

I remember doing an AC for them where they make you do a ‘pit trading game’ and the only reason I passed was because I borderline insulted the other AC candidates for prices. There’s a YouTube video of a Citibank trader who sort of did an interview where Citi made him do something extremely similar.

It’s fine if you have nothing else but Dare is quite a irregular choice.

Thanks for the reply, does a role there still have good career progression opportunities? e.g. would a move to a larger oil trader be possible? What would the exit opps be?
