Anyone make a move from S&T to Private Credit IR/Fundraising?
Pretty much in the title.. Curious if anyone has made this move or have heard of other people that have? I currently work in FI Sales for a regional dealer. Private markets interest me way more and wanted to see what a move like this can look like? What type of firms tend to hire from S&T for these roles? I have had a few conversations with a couple upper management people at different large PC funds regarding the IR/Fundraising role, not so much about the transition, but more general info - "Keep me in Mind" if something opens up.
Any color would be much appreciated!
