I feel projections were set too high... I also feel that they still are doing very well.. will beat numbers next projection and the overall aspect of the company is still strong... Starting to see a sell off in after hours.... No moves for me today, I am still very happy with this company.. I think it will jump back tomorrow.. Opinions?

you do realize apple historically is very conservative with their numbers?
I think this is good, I told my interview to short Apple due to Steve Jobs death looks like it played out well!
Considering that Steve Jobs died (Oct 5) after the quarter was already over (Sept 30), I'm not so sure how much his death contributed to the shortfall.
Yeah, Apple is historically conservative, but they're estimating $9.30/shr for Q1?? That's crazy, that means they'll really have like $11/shr. All of their numbers are still crazy good, but I agree, the projections are pretty ridiculous as well.
