Asset profitability?

I want to know, what would you say is the most profitable asset class for trading nowadays? I'm talking about trading them at a bank/proprietary trading firm, not as a self-employed. Also, which ones are dying? Which ones are raising?

Some examples of asset classes:

  • Equities
  • Options
  • Commodities
  • Bonds
  • Futures etc...
