Opportunity to move to s&t desk at a top BB from IB coverage. Dumb move? Im garbage at math and cant code. Id be above the rank of analysts who probably could do the job better. Do i take it or stick to IB / move to PE or corp dev?

Depends what you wanna do... 'Garbage at math and can't code' means it really depends what desk you join... don't join an options desk... For some desks its probably better if you're bad at maths anyway, that way you're less likely to get caught thinking there's a chance the markets are efficient, and instead you can focus on exploiting them. Also depending on the bank half the people on the floor will also be shit at maths and 2/3 of them won't be able to code. Just do what you wanna do
