Balika Samridhi Yojana: Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided by the government on the birth of a girl child and on the completion of her studies. This financial assistance will be provided to improve the negative thinking towards daughters in the country. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 500 will be provided on the birth of a girl child. Thereafter, till she reaches class X, she will be given a fixed amount every year. So this financial assistance amount is being provided to promote the education of daughters. She can withdraw this amount from the bank upon completion of 18 years. Girls born on or after 15th August 1997 can avail the benefits of Balika Samridhi Yojana 2023. So to take advantage of this scheme, you have to apply.

The main objective of this scheme is to provide scholarships for education to girls living below the poverty line. Through this scheme, the negative thinking of people towards girls will also improve and daughters will not have to face any financial crunch in their studies.
