Barclays Cap S&T - NYC
How is Barclays' reputation in NYC? How does its future in the US S&T market appear? Is there still potential for growth, or is it downsizing its US S&T presence and focusing more so on its European presence?
In Fixed Income, Barclays is top 3. The cash equities business has been shitty and is starting to get cut by Staley, and also across the board cuts in S&T in Asia.
I have heard negative things in terms of where they head over the next several years... pretty poor sentiment in that horizon. That said, a strong BB concerning ranks for now.
Barclays may not be the best place to be right now. IB is going to be downsized big time.
