BB phone interview question

no no contacts... just an online resume drop. and what exactly do you mean by "yours to lose?"

meaning youre as close to a shoe in as you can get.. the only way you wont get is if you dont prepare and blow it

....which is very plausable if you do not know the expression "yours to lose"

The COO of a BB is phone interviewing you for an entry level position????? That can't be right...

ended up not being a crazy big deal... pretty much a nice conversation with a really interesting person. oh and alexpasch: that's the reason i asked. it seemed off to me too, and i didn't know if i should be excited, freaking out, or what thanks for the (polite) responses and help, everyone!

Are you sure he is the COO of the entire bank? That doesn't seem to make any sense at all.

Probably the COO of the Securities division, or they separate it by region too.

I wouldn't make too much of it, I'm in contact with a COO at a BB constantly, he even emails me to keep in touch lol. Management is management - they're not trading anymore and COOs do a lot for recruiting.

The upside to that is you don't have to feel pressure! Chillax and just do whatcha gotta do.
