BB S&T applicant numbers

How many applicants does a BB S&T SA position typically have? How many do they take in a class? What do the return offer rates look like out of that class? (I know it all depends on the year, but typically what does it look like)

Can speak to a tier 2 BB (BofA / C / Barclays). ~100 S&T interns, like a 2% acceptance rate if i remember correctly. Return offer rates differ between firms, but generally from what I’ve heard > 75%.

Normally assume 1% of applicants get the offer (But Goldman suggests 10,000 applicants per spot is the number regurgitated by their HR).

Depends on what region, but here in London it would be more like 10-30 S&T interns depending on the bank.

Return really varies, heard some horror stories from some banks like 1/10. > 50% is common.

Taking the bait here, but as you mentioned no prop trading -> less seats at a bank (already limited) -> applications remain constant or even increased since kids see shows and moveis about this stuff.
