BB's that doing FT Analyst recruiting for FICC?

For FICC/Macro desks (FX, Rates, Commodities, etc) at BB's, which banks do FT (not just SA) recruiting at target schools? From what I've read/heard, these Analyst classes are increasingly (and at some firms only) made up from SA conversion.

Does anybody have any insight into top names in this space that conduct Full Time Analyst OCR at target schools? Also interested in FT OCR for strategy/research in the same areas.

Thanks

None of this will be decided until the end of the summer. The fact is that offer rates are extremely low in S&T these days, and it's very likely that most places will fill their FT classes out of their SAs.

macro_traderFair enough. Is this entirely dictated by need/market conditions, or is it in some cases essentially a matter of firm policy over the past 2-3 years?

There is no "firm policy" on adding heads. If the market doesn't call for more heads, they won't be hiring anyone. There are some one-off circumstances where a desk doesn't find someone from the internship program that fits the bill and they request that HR let them go out and find someone during FT recruiting. However, this has been exceptionally rare in the last two years. Even people who were told they would get FT recruiting looks were turned away because of the state of the industry right now. It's not impossible, but there's no steadfast policy that can lead you to FT opportunities. Keep networking and reaching out to firms, keep them abreast to your interest and hope for the best. Absolutely don't rely on OCR.
