Beginner training resources to understand trading and investment strategies
Hi All,
Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but not had any hits in the HF sub-forum. Essentially I've recently started a role in IR at a multi-strat hedge fund, and I'm struggling to keep up with the terminology and concepts! I don't need to understand the sub-strategies as thoroughly as the PMs but the more I can grasp them the better.
I don't have a background in investment management and they are well aware of that, and appreciate there will be a big learning curve, but I want to be proactive and try to do my own studying so I can get up to speed as quickly as possible!
Are there just some online resources I can look at, or is the best approach a formal certification?
Thanks!
