Best Firms for a Non-Target to Apply to for Summer 2024?
I'm starting as an intern at a Broker-Dealer specializing in Fixed Income in the coming weeks, but am unsure where I should be applying for next year's summer analyst roles. My main issue is I go to a school ranked outside of the top 100 in the US. I have some coding experience and a solid 3.7 gpa after taking some hard classes, but feel otherwise useless to a big bank, which is why I am shying away from applying to any big names at the moment. Can anybody recommend a few mid tier firms that potentially specialize in fixed income that might be looking for a candidate like myself?
