Better to finish MS or try and break in prior to finishing degree?

I started my career in outside sales at an electric/ gas supplier based in the Midwest.

After 1 year and a promotion later I realized that it wasn’t for me, the industry itself is interesting but the role I’m in is not a fit. Since then I have been trying to learn more about the commodity focused positions within the industry. I also started my MS Finance in the fall of ‘24 part time, and frankly don’t see many recruiting opportunities that would stem from my university since I am still working full time.

Should I wait to finish my degree which would likely be this December, or should I try and apply to positions prior to then?

Any advice in general is greatly appreciated.
