Brady4MVPA friend of mine got around $500K last year, trading exotic derivatives for a BB. he was only 25.

Holy F@#K! How far out of the ordinary was this for him?

Also, any thoughts on VPs/Directors?

IlliniProgrammerOne of my friends made a six figure income that did not start with a 1 his first year out of school at a major hedge fund. He was a programmer out of Illinois. Think he's a quant there today- no PhD or grad work.

lol did you get a nice rubbery one after you wrote that?

Bahahaha.

The largest bonus ever for a high level guy, as far as I have heard... was for Adam Levinson... a former GS trader who moved to Fortress and received 300 million in cash and stock upon arrival. I guess that's HF or something, not IBD though.

(you can google it)

Milken had a $550 mil bonus right before he was charged I think.
