If I am cold networking, is it an awful idea to reach out to people via bloomberg msg? I have access for my current work (internship looking for internship). Thanks.

I would avoid doing that if possible, most people get so many messages a day that it will just it get lost. Most people post their corporate emails on their Bloomberg Profile, I would email them from your personal email, if they don't post it and you can't figure it out you can send their Bloomberg email address a message from your personal email.
