Probably equity derivatives, pretty much the only field where french banks are at the top
You can't go wrong with a French bank in derivatives.
Thats a given but what about fixed income related stuff?

The description is as follows:
Strategy & Risk roles offer you an opportunity to interact with all levels Global Markets and all of its Global Business Lines to use its core resources (here focusing on Capital) in the most efficient manner.
Located within the Front Office, this transversal role also gives Graduates the opportunity to be involved with all the main functions (such as Risk, Finance, Legal, collateral management and ITO) and offers a strong springboard for anyone wanting to gain a strong understanding of how a Capital Markets organisation works.
The primary purpose of the role is to enable the Global Markets R3 Regulatory Capital team to fulfil its mandate to ensure the efficient use of all capital resources.
