You probably already know this but the Dirk Willer book - what they made the EM interns/first years read. I saw on “Emerging Markets in a World of Chaos” on a VP’s desk. Not really EM but “The World for Sale” is required reading for inflation desks and a fun read.
Do you think that EM is a better suit for a finance/business major pursuing a career in S&T? Many thanks!

rates/fx is quite quantitatively intensive so wouldn't expect the "standard" finance/business major to have enough STEM capabilities. credit is much less so perhaps a better fit especially EM corporate credit (though can argue this may change to in the furture)
