BP Market Strategist

Anyone has any insight on BP market strategist role. What can someone expect in an interview and comp? How is the evolution of comp and evolution in the role.

what could be possible exit options?

I see topics on trading at BP but couldn’t find much on this role so would appreciate any insight.

thank you!

If the role is not “market analyst” (which is a sales handholding role). Then it would be for the fundamentals team, which is usually broken out by region/trade-desk.
Comp is difficult since it is totally based on experience, if early on this is on par with scheduling pay.

Exits would be to other marketers, merchants, hedge funds. It is typical for a lot of grad rotations to be done in this group too so there is always an option to hand closer to trading role (if something wanted).
