Break into physical Metal trading ?
Hi, I was wondering how to break into physical Metal trading. I have 9 months of exp as an analyst doing tech work for supply chain / finance. Then I jumped into a sales manager role at a startup doing sales for all types of metal fabrication, also do procurement/ logistics (overseas/domestic) for all types of metals. 1 year exp. (Current job).
Have a IT degree from non target school.
is there any certs (series 3) or anything to make me standout while applying to a company as a trader.
what firms should I be looking at other than trafigura, glencore etc. in New York to break in. (Any smaller firms , banks etc).
