Broking VS OPS SA

I've heard a few things from different people on this topic and wanted a forum opinion.

Earlier this week I decided to go with an S&T OPS position with a bank which is rapidly growing, which would allow me to have mobility and possibly transfer to an FO role. I would also have direct contact with traders.

I had a final round and may have opportunity for the Summer dealer-broker internship with ICAP, which seems to really transfer well into a sales role and will give me exposure to a variety of products.

ICAP is obviously the FO position but I wouldn't have access to the network of traders, or the opportunity to transfer into a trading role within the company

To be honest, I cannot say i definitively want to trade as a career, neither can I say I want to be in sales. So I ask, which would lead to a better career path in the long run.

Thanks
