Then comes the market where users can market their cards. But, EA still controls because they control the scarcity of every single card and they manage each cards lack to ensure that the demand for a card outmatches supply. Under the cover of RNG they could manipulate the market economy in that way. Most Madden players are aware of this, but each year a kind of sheep is born for EA to fleece. This business model isn't strange to the planet, it is the business model of drug cartels. Because that's what this is all about, nurturing a cycle of dependence and catching influenceable minds while they are young.
At least in a number of the other MMO's, World War Thunder, of Warships, or MMO's like World of Tanks, the content you buy doesn't become insignificant in 6 weeks. EA has neglected core game mechanics and features to incorporate capabilities that are new, although all of this may be tolerable. The standard of the product has become questionable and EA's greed keeps increasing. So in short, I wonder why people still buy that garbage, and I wonder why people line up to hand money to a business that doesn't respect themand sees them as a cash cow. Never was there greater demand for competition to appear.
