BX Credit vs MM/BB S&T??

What would you guys take? Prestige, pay, exit opps, etc.

Say the MM/BB S&T is UBS, BNPP, DB

Bx Credit would be in their capital formation group (either public/private side). In private doing direct lending, in public doing securitized products I assume. Work would be mostly debt financing, structuring, etc. Also, is the private side or public "better"?

Career paths from both (pls correct if I'm wrong), assume desk in S&T is something in FICC

S&T --> Macro HF, specialized product shop (CLO only, etc.)

Bx --> hopping around credit at other MF's?, maybe specialized product shop (CLO only, etc.)?
