Call from the firm after rejection
I applied for a Summer Analyst position at BB S&T. I got rejected after the second round interview with a MD and EDs. All of a sudden, I got a call from the firm. One of the EDs who interviewed me told me that there is another opportunity at the team and asked me if I want the position. The ED told me there will be an interview with the MD.
Is it almost certain that I'll get an offer?
Not sure what to make of it, but seems like they are interested in you. I would focus on giving my best for this interview. Don't fret about what's not in your control.
"certain" lol...of course not....however they have given you another chance to impress them..don't be cocky...but have just enough confidence to be enjoyable to be around...in your next interview (yes, this is a real interview) don't try to be a "know it all" because you certainly do not...but try to reason things out and present your best guess with 95% confidence
Same thing happened for me, it was not BB, but tier 2/3(it depends on the perspective, though..)bank for SA 2 yrs ago. I did my best and got on offer. I think it's a good chance, and if I would bet on the possibility that they had a good impression on you if I had to.
Hope you give your best.
Yes my bro
Did you tell them to get Foeked? Let them know you're not a "sloppy seconds" kinda guy/ or girl ... you're here for the main meal
Very similar thing happened to me at a lower tier bank. Rejected then got called a few weeks later but I got offered without another interview. Is this common?
God, recruiting is really something else...so random
