Can you ask your firm to sponsor your CFA if you only worked there for a week?

Can you ask your firm to sponsor your CFA level 1 if you only worked there for a week? (you dont want to miss the deadline)

Asking about the CFA

The best way to find out if your firm pays for the CFA is to ask your boss and or human resources. A short email should suffice in this situation. Some companies will pay after you pass the CFA. Other companies may pay as soon as you send them the bill. The CFA also offers scholarships if you're looking for other ways to cut costs.

Ask em for a promotion while you are in there. But really, most likely there is a formal policy. Ask your boss/HR.

This to all my hatin' folks seeing me getting guac right now..

Depends on the firm. At my old BB (and I imagine it's similar at others), they'll reimburse you after you pass it if it's relevant to your work, but you have to pay upfront for registration. Also there's usually a clawback period so you can't leave right after you get reimbursed.
